During the fall of 2015 Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) was retained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District to design and construct a potable water well and associated piping, buildings and equipment at the Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, California.
The key components of this project include the following:
• New 530 foot deep well with 16-inch diameter low carbon steel casing and 240 feet of stainless steel screen with the target capacity of at least 1,100 gallons per minute
• 2,300 linear feet of 10-inch diameter DR18 C900 PVC pipe pressure pipe, between the new well 12 facility and an existing facility
• New 600 square foot (20x30) metal equipment building.
