Dublin|EDT JV, LLC as prime is the Design-Build-Leaseback for Rumford CBOC. The 8,300 SF facility is a new development/construction of an outpatient clinic for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
Dublin|EDT performed complete services which include:
- Selection and purchase of land to fit VA specifications
- Fully financed land acquisition, design and construction of the building including associated parking and access
- Dublin|EDT provided all Architectural, MEP, Structural and Civil design and coordinated all design efforts with the VA design team to meet all the VA‘s requirements
- Obtained all required permits
- Coordinated all interior finishes with the VA through design charrettes
- Community outreach with concerned citizens
- Dublin|EDT is managing all construction
- Dublin|EDT Management will provide ongoing operation and maintenance of the building including, but not limited to janitorial and maintenance
The project sits within a triangular shaped 1-acre site and is comprises of load bearing stud framing with a brick veneer exterior envelope and a pitched roof. Due to the site constraints, Dublin|EDT implemented innovative design solutions for Entry Access, Sewer Pump Station and Fire Main among others.
