Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT), as party to a three-firm joint venture, is providing design support to the Department of Watershed Management (DWM) Strategic Asset Management Division (SAMD) in designing water mains replacement projects throughout the City of Atlanta. Work under this project includes obtaining lists of water mains to be replaced, gathering existing available relevant data needed to advance design, performing due diligence activities (survey, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), etc.), conducting field reconnaissance to observe/verify field conditions, preparing construction documents, providing permitting support, preparing construction cost estimates, performing value engineering and constructability reviews with the City and providing related other support services as directed by the City.
